Rockstar Games approached to create Sons of Anarchy game
Rockstar Games was approached today by one and only, Kurt Sutter. For those of you who don’t know who he is, he is the show creator of Sons of Anarchy.
He now want’s to build on the Sons of Anarchy franchise by turning it into a video game, and he want’s Rockstar Games to make it.
Kurt Sutter Tweeted:
@RockstarGames you should make the SOA game. i know it’s an expensive/complicated process, but let’s chat, see if we can make it happen.
In August, Sutter said the Sons of Anarchy game was stalled and may never get made. A major publisher reportedly dismissed the project, with Sutter claiming the game was not a priority for Sons of Anarchytelevision network FX.
This was in stark contrast from how Sutter felt in May. At the time, he said, “Had a great meeting with a big distributor yesterday. Myself and everyone at FX and Fox is committed to making this happen.”
Personally, I don’t think this will happen, one reason for that is, because Rockstar have already done something similar with Grand Theft Auto IV. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, then I am talking about GTA IV: The Lost and Damned.
